How to Download Our Documents
The best way to use our resources is to download them:
- Simply click on the link/resource you wish to use below.
- Once the link opens you will see the “download” button at the top. The button may be to the top left or the top right and will either say download or have the download icon.
- Here is an example of the download icon

- Once you click on the download buttons, a save box will pop up.
- Inside of the save box, select a location/folder on your laptop or device to save the file, then select save.
- Some links will automatically open a save pop-up box once you click them. If this happens, follow step 4 above.
- After you have downloaded your file, you’re done!

Licensing/Regulatory
SUD Service MAT License No Longer Required for Prescribing Buprenorphine
Per LARA (Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs), sites with more than 100 patients prescribed buprenorphine and/or naltrexone are no longer required to obtain a Substance Use Disorder Service MAT license!
X-License is No Longer Required
DEA Training Requirements
Prescribers who are either renewing or applying for a new controlled substance DEA registration are required to complete 8-hours of SUD training due to the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act.
Michigan Opioid Collaborative’s previous and upcoming free trainings and webinars will meet the new DEA SUD training requirements. Check out our events page for our upcoming events and look for the ones that say “Meets DEA SUD Training Requirements” or “DEA Training”.

Naloxone Education
Free On-Demand Training for MATE Act Education
Prescribers who are either renewing or applying for a new controlled substance DEA registration are required to complete 8-hours of SUD training due to the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act. The requirement took effect on June 27th, 2023.
MOC has partnered with MyMichigan to offer free and convenient opportunities for prescribers to meet the new DEA requirements. If you are unable to attend our live webinars, you can access archived webinars at the MyMichigan website and still receive CME credit. Currently we have 6 webinars available on the MyMichigan website, which you can access below, but we plan to expand our list of topics over time.
